Tanzania, officially the United Republic of Tanzania, is a country in East Africa within the African Great Lakes region. It is bordered by Uganda to the northwest; Kenya to the northeast; the Indian Ocean to the east; Mozambique and Malawi to the south; Zambia to the southwest; and Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, is in northeastern Tanzania. According to the 2022 national census, Tanzania has a population of nearly 62 million, making it the most populous country located entirely south of the equator.

Varied Landscape From the vast savannahs of Serengeti to the stunning Ngorongoro crater, from the red-looking Lake Natron to the lush forests of Tarangire National Park, Tanzania has every landscape possible.
Abundance of Wildlife. Be flexible and open-minded, Minimal phone or internet coverage. If you want to witness the wildebeest migration, plan early. Camps along the migration route get booked up, and the wildebeest move to their own rhythms.
You’ll be picked up from the airport to your respective lodge for the accommodation, where you will meet your safari Guides for briefing ready to explore Tanzania.
Today, will be a leisure day to explore Moshi then head back to the hotel.
Today you will enjoy a day surrounding the famed Mount Kilimanjaro. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and a great authentic tribal village lying just outside of Kilimanjaro National Park.
First, we will visit the waterfalls, which are around a 40-minute walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, and village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will also see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an Inviting place for a refreshing swim so don’t forget your swimwear!
Next, the coffee experience awaits you. Here you will learn how coffee is cultivated, dried, roasted and further processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture.
You will enjoy your local lunch at the Materuni village.
After your tour, you will be transferred back to your lodge
After breakfast, you will be picked up and taken to the airport and return home.
